We floated from Dora creek to the Humboldt county line yesterday. 13 miles class II with 4 rapids that were alittle harder and one portage around a low water bridge. Flows were perfect but I would not do it much lower. Great scenery!

Did you note the flow you ran it at? Would you recommend rafting it? Where do you put in and take out exactly?

Flow was 630cfs on the Leggett gauge. I would recommend rafting it for sure at higher flows maybe 1000+. Put in at Hwy 1 bridge about 5 miles up river of Dora creek or at Dora creek which is a creek that comes into the Eel at a Day Use area. Best take out is off exit 625 dirt road under hwy 101 to the river bar this take out cuts out about 5-6 miles of class 1+ to the Humboldt county line bridge and the portage around the low water bridge.
