| I have to replace a 9' SGG Cataract oar. I bought these used.
1. How can I tell if the oar has an internal counter-balance? It feels like it. The handle doesn't appear to unscrew or come out.
2. What is the unladen (no blade) weight of a counter-balanced 9' SGG oar?
3. Is there a forum or a message board to find (i.e., buy) used Cataract oars? thanks.
