| The B120 report for February came out today, and it predicts that the "Unimpaired Runoff" above Folsom Reservoir will be 1.19 MAF (million acre-feet). This is within the Dry range.
The result is that starting this weekend, the scheduled releases below Chili Bar won't be quite as good as they have been. See the Chili Bar release schedule for details. However, note that these are only the guaranteed releases - in practice, at their discretion, SMUD/PG&E may release boatable flows any day of the week. Just don't count on them.
This new schedule will persist until the next B120 bulletin comes out, around March 10. If we have significant precipitation between now and then, the situation could improve after March 10. Conversely, it could get worse. So be sure to "think rain", and check back again around March 10.

| The B120 report for March came out today, and it predicts that the "Unimpaired Runoff" above Folsom Reservoir will be 0.92 MAF (million acre-feet). This is still within the Dry range, but only by a hair.
The result is that the current release schedule remains in effect for the next month or so. After that ... well, let's just say we need to collectively do some serious rain dancing to avoid the dreaded Critically Dry designation.

The result is that the current release schedule remains in effect for the next month or so. Good job all you rain dancers, your efforts paid off!

| The B120 report for May came out Tuesday, and it predicts that the "Unimpaired Runoff" above Folsom Reservoir will be 1.625 MAF (million acre-feet). This is near the top of the Dry range, though still within it. This is the final report for the year, and the Dry designation is expected to remain in effect until around February 10, 2013.
The current Chili Bar release schedule is still good as far as it goes, and I'll update it with entries for the rest of the year soon.
