Bill Deitchman of California State Parks reports as follows: "Around 9/16 a red and yellow kayak was found below the Confluence about 2 miles upstream of Rattlesnake Bar. It is currently being stored at ASRA Headquarters.

Please contact the front desk of Auburn State Recreation Area at (530) 832-4161 if you have any clues as to who it might belong to."
