| Today the Mokelumne River Ecological Resource Committee (ERC) and PG&E determined boating days for Tiger Creek. In an effort to comply with requests from the ERC that PG&E manage releases at Salt Springs to avoid spilling during Spring runoff, pulse flows are planned for the beginning of May. These pulse flows for either a Below Normal or Above Normal water year type will provide extra opportunity for paddling during a 5 day period on Tiger Creek. We also get 6 days of recreational flows on Tiger Creek. Note** some flows are subject to change in dates. (I’ll keep folks posted)
North Fork Mokelumne River - Tiger Creek Cls III-IV
Monday May 2 – Friday May 6 - PG&E will pass pulse flows unchanged from the upstream reach. If it is Above Normal expect 1800 cfs plus accretion and if it is Below Normal expect 1238 cfs plus accretion below the Tiger Creek Afterbay (PG&E Gauge M59)
Saturday May 21 & Sunday May 22 Saturday May 28, Sunday May 29 & Monday May 30 Saturday June 4 & Sunday June 5 Depending on spring run-off PG&E will target between 700 cfs to 1500 cfs below Tiger Creek Afterbay (PG&E Guage M59) from 10 am to 2 pm
