| Bill Deitchman - California State Parks - passed on the following email that he in turn received from O.A.R.S.:
"If you could help me disseminate this I would appreciate it. Saturday Afternoon July 5th, an OARS boat lost a throw bag at Fowlers Rock and it was not recovered. It was last seen floating past the bottom of the rapid rope still in the bag. If you could help me get the word out and let concerned parties know there is a potential hazard I would appreciate it."
