On a very sad note, as I floated by Yankee Jim bridge on the North Fork American river on Sunday, June 27th I noticed extensive tagging with black spray paint all over the rocks right under Yankee Jim Bridge. Please take viligance and contact the authorities if you see anyone vandalizing. This incident has been reported to the Placer County State Parks. This is fairly new as it has happened in the past two weeks.
